Rack up hours to earn awards and win prizes as you spend time spent on trail rides, in shows, on Wagon Trains-whatever. It all counts as long as you are forward going and riding or driving your horse.
We are proud to continue our tradition of offering scholarships to individuals seeking to participate in Therapeutic Riding programs at our member therapeutic riding centers:

Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Ctr
Contact: Jennifer Anderson, 15 Reiter Rd
East Aurora, NY 14052

Contact: P.0. Box 25, Newfane, NY 14108

Individuals need not be members of the Chapter to be eligible for Therapeutic Riding Scholarships and should contact one of the centers above to apply.

In lieu of flowers upon her death, longtime area horsewoman, Delore Wild's request was that all gifts be donated to the Western Chapter Therapeutic Scholarship program which she had helped develop. To honor her life and support of handicapped riders our scholarship forever bears her name

We offer a $500 scholarship to a collegiate horse related program or professional certification program. (Parelli, John Lyons, Farrier, etc.)

To qualify, the applicant must be a member of the Western Chapter and fulfill all the provisions of the application. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the institution or program in which the recipientis enrolled. For questions regarding the scholarship, please contact:
